<iii> Example of topics I addressed in one-on-one work?

fear of leaving a job, changing career, or starting your own project/business and doing something more suited to and meaningful for you. Often it happens that we are afraid to leave a job because it gives us a good paycheck and because we are not sure what the change will look like in case we embark on a new life trajectory. We don’t want to “risk it” and experiment. But if we find ourselves in a field that does not excite us, if we are not doing what we love and what truly inspires us, then we have far more to fear....
Living in a world that is changing at a very fast pace, with expected massive disruptions coming from AI automation, quantum computers, and other scary changes such as the war in Ukraine, we should be afraid of what will happen with our careers in 8-10 years from now...as our career paths will alter and shift quickly.
What will happen in our field of work and how will we adjust? In 10 years from now when things have changed so dramatically for everyone who hasn’t been doing what they loved and were passionate about, there is a big threat that they will either have lost their position and paycheck or have ended up doing something that does not bring them joy but rather makes them feel miserable.

having challenges to be oneself truly, being authentic, expressing one’s heart, not creating what we dream of, not following our soul, and having challenges to express our weirdness and wear it without fear. Seeing ourselves honestly beyond the confidence we wear as a badge and becoming aware of ourselves as we truly are - that we are covering over some wounds and vulnerabilities. Having difficulty facing these, embracing them, analyzing them, and understanding the patterns that are preventing us from embodying high self-worth.

<iv> How can I be sure that you can help me?
-
After the initial assessment, if can't help you I will let you know and not waste anyone's time :)

<v> Why are you doing this work?
-
My main motivational drivers are (a) to help people find a meaningful life path and purpose, true fulfillment, harmony and balance, and to build up their self-esteem, and (b) to inspire and explore possibilities to create a purposeful and positive impact in the world.

<vi> Who is the right fit?
-
Accomplished in the sense that you feel ready. Being ready would likely mean that you are eager and keen to make a change (e.g changing career, working less, retiring earlier, achieving more, feeling better, feeling lost, not being in a good place, etc.)

<viii> Do you have references?
-
yes, I certainly do and I am happy to connect you with the people I have been working with after we have had a chance to meet. My initial consultation is for free and I use it as a way to validate myself that you are the person I would be inspired to work with. If the feeling is mutual, then I will gladly provide you with references.

<ix> How long have you been doing this?
-
I've been working as a startup mentor and consultant since 2014 while coaching is something I started 3 years.

<x> What is the role of a mentor vs a coach?
-
Entrepreneurship can be a lonely business This is especially true if you are a solopreneur, a team of one. None of your friends or family understand you and how or why you function as you do. Even if you have friends or family backing you, the state of your business rests solely on your shoulders. All the brunt of the worries and anxiety can be heavy and often the best solution is to work with a mentor to whom you can talk, be completely honest and open, bounce off ideas, and get directions, advice, and help. The role of the mentor is more about supporting and guiding and it isn't wildly different from the role that coach has although with a coach you would rather have set topics and things to address and work on.
